In recent years, the banking regulator APRA updated prudential requirements, including standardising minimum notice periods for fixed-term deposits. To comply, we are updating our Term Deposit by implementing a 31-day notice period for early withdrawals, reinvesting funds at the applicable term and interest rate if no instructions are given and introducing an interest rate adjustment and early withdrawal fee for withdrawals before maturity.

These changes apply to new Term Deposits or existing accounts renewing on or after Aug 1, 2026.
