Mobile Relationship Manager - Kilmore Branch, Permanent full time

About the Role

The Mobile Relationship Manager is responsible for driving member lending acquisition via new business development and established referrals sources. The Mobile Relationship Manager will build on existing and ever-growing networks, providing great financial outcomes for our members, provide a seamless and enjoyable member experience and source new opportunities and hold meaningful conversations to uncover financial needs and ultimately providing members and potential members with appropriate solutions.

About You (Key Selection Criteria)

  • Our values (Integrity, Responsible, Progressive and Excellence) align with yours. 
  • A Certificate IV in Finance and Broker Management with well-developed business lending and credit analysis skills and the ability to deliver needs-based financial solutions.
  • You hold Tier 2 certification or have the ability to successfully complete within two months of commencement
  • You have a proven and proactive track record of business development and portfolio growth with established quality referral sources and networks 
  • Strong relationship management skills – stakeholders, members, and local community
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to working in a highly autonomous role, manage own portfolio, achieve defined objectives with the ability to manage evolving priorities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to manage relationships effectively and consultatively with a diverse range of internal & external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of prompt high quality member services. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Ability to promote and follow compliance, risk and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Current Victorian car licence
  • The ability to successfully meet GMCU’s pre-employment screening requirements.

Business Analyst

  • Position type: Permanent full-time (part time hours will be considered)
  • Location: Negotiable


About the Role

As a Business Analyst (BA) you’ll work independently to support and contribute to significant changes to GMCU’s strategic plan and associated initiatives. You may work on multiple complex projects, as well as smaller initiatives involving application, system or process enhancements and other business improvement initiatives that align to strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited:

  • Build and foster effective business relationships with GMCU’s business stakeholders across all levels and teams.
  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders by facilitating and/or coordinating user-centric design workshops, stakeholder interviews, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Manage multiple complex business improvement initiatives simultaneously and anticipate/escalate risks.
  • Build BA capability by sharing knowledge across the business.
  • Provide guidance, advice and support to the Project Management Office and Executive Leadership Team as required.
  • Develop and implement improvements and best practice in processes and procedures. This includes maintaining progress updates and recording time against initiatives and projects.

  • You have good computer skills and can use a variety of systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Working autonomously to meet tight deadlines and prioritise your workload comes naturally.
  • Ability to participate as an active and positive team member.
  • The ability to successfully meet GMCU’s pre-employment screening requirements.
